The Proposed Death Tax may be the Death of your Farm and Small Business unless ...

Friends, most know by now that Ask LLC (All Solutions Known) offers many products, services, and solutions to small and medium-sized businesses. The three main things we offer are Advocacy, Branding, and Cashflow Strategies. Today, I am sharing something very important from our Advocacy service; protecting small businesses from the proposed "Death Tax".

Now Is The Time For The Death Tax Repeal Act To Reduce Small Business Regulatory Burdens

The estate tax, known as the death tax, is triggered when assets are passed on to children or family members. For small business owners, this can mean that once they pass away, their business may be severely impacted or even forced to close.

That’s why NFIB supports the Death Tax Repeal Act, which was introduced last month in the U.S. House and Senate to repeal the federal estate tax. The bills were previously considered in 2019 but didn’t proceed out of committee in either house. Now a new Congress has been seated and advocates against the estate tax are continuing the push for change, and you can help.

NFIB is leading a coalition of 89 stakeholder groups in support of the repeal, and today the coalition sent letters of support for the bill’s introduction to Representatives Jason Smith (R-MO) and Sanford Bishop (D-GA) who introduced the bill in the U.S. House and Senator John Thune (R-SD) who introduced it in the U.S. Senate.

Now more than ever, small business owners (and especially farmers) need to act today. We can no longer afford to stand idle. NFIB has fought for its members for over 77 years and we need to come together against this evil and dangerous threat.

There are things you can do.

1. Share this post, article, or whatever platform you saw this.

2. If you are not an NFIB member, there has never been a better time to join. Contact me today. We can discuss an affordable membership. This is not about the money, this is about more members. Please, don't put this off.

3. Tell us your story. NFIB wants to hear your story – call me and I will email you the link*. Your experience with this regulation can help us educate legislators.

4. Tell your senators and representative. Call me and I will email you the link*.

*You do not have to become a member to get these links but we could sure use more members. With more, we can do more.

If you would like to become a member, you can call me and I will register you over the phone using a credit card or check, and you'll get a receipt immediately via your email during our call.

Or, you can right-click on the invoice form below, copy and paste it into a word document, complete it and mail it with a check. I will process it and you'll also get an emailed receipt as soon as I enter it.

Below are the recommended rates. They are "suggested". If you are able, some farmers who believe in the cause choose $5,000 to $15,000 even though they have less than 100 employees. Others are so strapped that the $395 is difficult; we will work something out with you. It is more important now that we have the members in your area. Members are what make politicians take notice.
