Welcome.
If you are a Vet, first let me say with all sincerity, thanks for your service! And secondly, you are in the right place for the most popular and important links to get the help you need and deserve when looking for and getting that job you really deserve. Please continue reading because we offer something you will not find anywhere else!
This short article offers many valuable links which take you to directories and helpful sites which should answer most or all of your questions. If you have comments or questions, feel free to put them in the comments area and we will answer your question directly and perhaps address them in future articles.
The main focus of my talk is giving Vets the advantage they need in the workforce, primarily in getting a job and one that pays well. At the outset you need a resume which highlights and presents your experiences, talents and skills. But you probably also know that the HR staff at just about every company are inundated with resumes; most poorly executed and few which are really stellar. You can use the links below to get help with the basics of resume writing. But I’m here to tell you that the “basics” won’t get your resume noticed enough to get you an interview. You need more; something which puts your resume at the top of the stacks of thousands of those already on the desks of interviewers.
We have the answer. We call it the Get Job Cert. It’s a certificate which tells your prospective employer that you are qualified for Work Opportunity Tax Credits (WOTC) and as a vet you are in many classifications which make you a very favorable candidate for hire!
I won’t bog you down with details but essentially employers receive tax credits to hire certain employment types which can be used to train and offset hiring costs. But (and this is where you come in and benefit from), many don’t know about WOTC, think that their CPA is handling it, or think that it is still the hard and laborious system from years ago. Things have changed, and this puts you in the driver’s seat!
Essentially, here is how our “Get Job WOTC Cert” program works.
You visit our site, www.terscott.com/getjobcert and apply; it’s free. (Use the drop down menu and choose “vet”). That’s it. You’re done when you submit your name and email. We then email you a few questions to answer and then in about 48 hours we’ll send you your WOTC Certificate which you submit with every resume that you send and bring with you to every interview you attend, which explains to your prospective employer the potential tax incentives they can expect.
Your resume and you get noticed and hopefully hired!!! Because you’ve made your interviewer take notice by you thinking about them. You don’t need to do anything except include it as the details and instructions are all on your certificate. Plus, you can use it over and over and over again until you get the job you want. Your Get Job WOTC Cert is applicable if you are simply looking to get hired at your local burger chain or for a Fortune 500 Company!
If you have questions, I would be glad to answer them in the comments area below. For now, don’t wait. Apply for your free Get Job WOTC Cert at: www.terscott.com/getjobcert. This is our way to help you and other Vets to get the help and “unfair advantage” we think you deserve!
